A Visit to Korea is Life Changing

For Korean Adoptees, and descendants of Korean heritage living in the American's, there may never be a more important journey that they could take than to return to their Motherland and explore their culture, their heritage and their history. Korean adoptees and their families find that visiting Korea deepens their relationship, and changes their lives. Those of Korean heritage also benefit and find a new bond with family and culture.  A journey through Korea provides that missing link to understanding who they are and where they came from. It is a journey no one ever regrets, remembers for the rest of their lives, and uses to build their future.

The main problem for most who want to return is the cost.

My Korea tours are less than half the costs of other tours

While most Korean adoptee tours cost anywhere from $3,500 to $5,000 per person. With my help, your tour could be as low as $700 per person, plus airfare. My goal is to make visiting Korea affordable to everyone. As you learn more about me, you will see how I can do this and why I offer this program at such a low price.

I Am Not A Tour Company

Although I have been taking people to Korea since 1997, I am not trying to make a living offering tours or becoming a tour company. I own several businesses where I make a good living. My Korean visits are out of a deep love I have for Korea, its people, language, heritage and culture. When I take people to Korea, it is to experience through them the wonder and awe I felt twenty years ago when I first lived in Korea. I have learned that I don’t need to be paid to share what I love with new people. The experience itself is enough to continue each year. I never charge a fee for my services.

How this works is that every person in the group pays for themselves (hotel rooms, meals, entrance fees, public transportation, etc.) and then each group pays their share of the shared costs (Car rental, gas, tolls and fees, my airfare, hotel, meals and transportation costs).  This brings the cost down so that everyone can go and enjoy Korea.

I first went to live in Korea in 1990. Since then, I have lived in five different cities and have visited more than 50 others. There are parts of Korea I know better than my current hometown. I speak, read and write the language and have visited more than 80 temples and historical sites. I have been a student of Korean history and culture for more than 20 years. The love I feel for Korea will last forever. All I want to do is share that with others.

Why this Tour is Different than All the Others

My tours are completely different than any other because we, together, design the tour to meet your needs, do what you want to do, see what you want to see, and go where you want to go. I provide my expertise and knowledge of the country so that we plan a trip that works, but, I will work closely with the participants of that trip to create the tour based on the needs and desires of the small group (Usually 4-12 people). See the tour creation section for more information.
