Food In Korea

I have only one rule about food while we are in Korea. I only eat in Korean restaurants. Although there are several western fast food and restaurant chains in Korea, Korean food is some of the best on the planet. Part of the joy of visiting another country is to immerse yourself in the food of the locals. It is also much less expensive. (If there happens to be a western restaurant close by, which there often is in some of the places we eat at, you are more than welcome to go there if you wish and meet up with the rest of us after.)

Here is a link that not only gives a description of almost every Korean dish, but provides pictures and recipes as well:
http://www.lifeinkorea.com/food/menu.cfm.

You can request dishes and I will try to find them for you when we are in Korea.

Here are the five most common Lunch items you will have on the tour.
